What is Core De Force ? Join the Exclusive Test Group


How exciting is this !! A brand new program home fitness program from Beachbody with the word CORE in it !! What is Core De Force?

This workout was created by Joel Freeman and Jericho McMatthews, it is the ultimate mixed martial arts-inspired workout that is going to really knock off the belly fat, get rid of inches and tone and tighten your entire body with no equipment.

A great feature that comes with this workout is a “learn it & work it” section that breaks down the moves so that you can learn them before you do jump in and do them.  So for those of us that are new to the MMA style exercises this will give you confidence to go right in and kick some butt.   There are modifiers in every single workout so no matter what your ability level is, you can go at your own pace.  As you get stronger the goal is to challenge yourself with higher intensity and increased focus.

What are the Workouts like ?

The workouts are 30-45 minutes in length and you workout 6 days a week with a stretch on the 7th. The workout program is 30 days in length.

Drop a Jeans Size in 30 Days


I think that its safe to say that swimsuit season is over and Skinny Jeans are in. I really do love living in Michigan and having the change in seasons !! I love putting on my favorite pair of jeans, with a big cozy sweater and a great pair of tall boots !! "Skinny may not even be jeans to you. Maybe its your favorite top or dress. Its all about feeling CONFIDENT in your clothes !!

We need to start by making a commitment to yourself. Commit to making a change!!

t's time to say good-bye to that extra spare tire and bring on the confidence to ROCK ANY OUTFIT THAT YOU WANT THIS FALL SEASON! 





My Goals:

1.  Kick the sugar cravings.
2.  Start consistently getting in my water intake for the day.  1/2 my body weight in ounces of water daily.
3.  Follow the meal plan that I put in place each week
4.  Take time each day to read my personal development to keep my mind fresh.
5.  Take time to rest.  Make sure to go to bed at a decent hour so that I do not feel run down and overwhelmed with life.  {easier said than done right}

I don't know about you but I do best when I make myself accountable ! Sometimes you just need to say it out loud ! Shout if from the rooftops!!  I’m hoping that together we can keep each other accountable!  Guess what -- No one is perfect, we are all human and we all slip up ... AND that is why being accountable is so important to helping me achieve my goals ! I want to help you by sharing my own personal struggles with you in hopes that it will inspire you to keep going in the right direction!

There is nothing worse than pulling up those jeans and having your muffin top hang over the top of your pants! UGH… It has an instant negative impact -- it can automatically throw you into a a state of the CRANKIES !! It messes with your confidence in yourself.. Now your searching for all the big and baggie shirts to cover yourself up... I know because i lived that way for a long time.. 

Dont Let this be you !



Finally I was just sick and tired of feeling that way. I started with T25 and Clean Eating and I started to see some changes.. I started to feel better.. and my CRANKIES had left the building! 

I didnt do this all on my own -- I had the help of a coach and a community of wonderful women who were all dealing with very similar situations.. 

I want to do the same for your ! I want to provide you with the same support that led me to my goals.. (3 years and counting) 

I am putting together a Drop a Jeans Size Challenge! Starting on October 17th. This is a closed 6 weeks online support and accountability group. My goal is to teach you how to meal plan, grocery shop, modify your favorite recipes to make them healthier, kick those sweet cravings to the curb, how to handle eating out, and to deal with the added temptations of the upcoming Holiday Season..  Were going to shed those unwanted pound and inches thru daily motivation and tips to help you start and complete the program and get the results that you are looking for!

So how does all this work?? 



Well the first week is call prep week.. This is so important as we focus on your mindset, we focus on getting you setup for success, we focus on making small changes that can be sustained for long term success. 

Next we start the PHYSICAL FITNESS portion ! I help you choose a Team Beachbody Fitness program that will best suit your needs and your fitness levels. We have something for everyone!! One of my absolute favorites is the 21 Day Fix. This changed my nutrition dramatically!! It was super easy to follow and opened my eyes to how and where I was off. The workouts are great as well as they offer a little bit of everything- Cardio, Weights, PlyoMetrics, Pilated, Upper and Lower Body !! Its a super fun mix !! And no worries if your just a beginner - there is a modifier for each program so that you can start at your own level.   

Lastly, each person is required to replace 1 meal a day with Shakeology for the 6 weeks of the group. The reason is this.  Shakeology is not a protein shake.  Its not comparable to Slim Fast or any other shake!  It’s like comparing apples to oranges.  When you look at Shakeology you are seeing high quality ingredients that are not processed, there are no artificial sweeteners or flavorings and it is going to help you lose weight because it’s portion controlled and it has the right carb to protein ratio that your body needs to make up a complete meal.  You can choose any meal during the day to replace with Shakeology.  I always suggest you choose the meal that you struggle with the most.  Some days I am crazy in the mornings with getting out the door to work, or traveling to tournaments on the weekends so it is my breakfast and other times its my lunch at work as I have back to back meetings and its easier to drink Shakeology in a meeting or on a conference call than bringing in a full lunch. It works perfect as dinner on busy sports and activities evenings and it keeps me out of the drive thru. The great part is you decide when it works best for you!!  You don’t have to commit to it forever, but give it 30 days!  It will help the transition to clean eating easier, it will help you get better results because your body is getting proper nutrition and can recover faster and at the end of the 6 weeks we can re evaluate to see where to go from here!

Every day you check into a group, it could be a Closed Facebook group or the Challenge Tracker App on your phone. Either way I will post in the group daily. Examples of posts can be Motivation, Tips, Recipes or Accountability. 

This is your safe place. Its a group of like minded people helping you, lifting you up on the hard days and celebrating with you on the good days. These groups were the game changer for me.. This was where the difference was.. I tried to do it on my own for years and continued to fail over and over.

Just for some added motivation I spend some time on Pinterest and looked for some great styles that I want to ROCK this fall .. I recommend that you do the same! Post those pics in your house ! In your closet, in the bathroom, in the fridge, in the pantry, in your car !! Make it a constant reminder of what you are after !! 

Just because i am a mom in my 40's and have a busy crazy life, doesn't meant that I'm giving up on myself. You can ROCK your jeans at any age !!

PoppySeed Casserole



Ever have a recipe that you make that reminds you of someone or something?? 

Well there is a story behind this one.... It goes back over 20+ years ago ! 

My husband and I (boyfriend back then) were invited over to my sisters house for dinner -- My mom shared that she was making some dish called PoppySeed Casserole !! 

Seriously - What the Heck was that?? 

So being the Smart Teenagers that we were , Merv and I went to the nearest McDonalds Drive thru and ate dinner on our way to her house... 

Joke was on us !! We both LOVED It !! 

Moral of the Story -- Dont judge a book by its cover ! Ya never know unless you TRY IT !! 

20 years later I make this dish on a regular basis and the whole family loves it!! 


Ingredients: 
1 1/2 lbs ground turkey
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/3 cup green pepper
2 - 15 oz cans of tomato sauce (No HFCS)
1/2 tsp Himalayan Salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1- 8 oz package of wide No Yolk Noodles
1- 8 oz cream cheese
1 cup cottage cheese
1/2 cup plain or greek yogurt 
1 Tbsp Poppyseed

Directions: 
Cook Turkey & Onion and Green Pepper
Add Sauce, Salt and Pepper
Cook Noodles 

Mix Cheeses w/ yougurt & Poppyseed.
Toss with Cooked Noodles 

Layer a 9x13 Dish 3/4 full with the noodle mixture
Add Meat to the center of the Noodle mixture 
Add remaining noodles to the top

Bake Covered 375, 30-35 Minutes
Uncover - Bake for 10-15 more minutes

FREE - 7 Day Clean Eating Crock Pot Meals

Can you Smell what that Crock is Cooking? 



It feels like summer just ended, but I can feel the air changing... Its time for Comfort food !! My absolute favorite time of the year to cook is the FALL !! I love all the casseroles and Chili's and hot food that warms your belly !! 

Lets face it - I dont care if your young, or old with children or without.. We are all BUSY!! 
I think that most of us strive to eat healthy but many times we are faced with what is convenient !! 

Its TIME TO PULL OUT THE CROCK POT !! It can be your best friend. As long as you have an idea of what you want to make --- It makes cooking easy! I even started prepping in the evening and putting the crock pot in the fridge overnight.. In the morning I just have to turn it on !!
